WANTING TO WIN IS EVERYTHING

SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE FOLLOW THEIR PLAN

You need a plan to find success. Wanting success isn't sufficient enough to get it.

You've got to ask yourself, "What are you going to do to get the things you want."

Your problem is to bridge the gap which exists between where you are now and the goal you intend to reach.

You cannot fail with a definite step by step plan, because each step you take will carry you along to the next step, like a track.

All you need is the plan, the road map, and the courage to press on to your destination.

You cannot get lost on a straight road.

IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO WIN UNLESS YOU RUN

Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire and begin at once, whether you're ready or not to put your plan into action.

It's up to you to take the first step.  The first step will take some effort, maybe pain.  But after that, everything that has to be done is real - life movement.  Once you're moving, you can keep moving.

If you can get up the courage to begin, you have the courage to succeed.

The only true failure lies in the failure to start.  Eighty per cent of success is showing up.

SUCCESS IS ACTUALLY A STATE OF MIND

DON'T BELIEVE IN MIRACLES, DEPEND ON THEM

You don't need an explanation for everything.
 
Recognize that there are such things as miracles, events for which there are no explanations.  Later, knowledge may explain those events away. 

The fact that you plant a seed and it becomes a flower, share a bit of knowledge and it becomes another's, smile at someone and receive a smile in return are common miracles.
 
Your duty to yourself is to believe that for which you have sufficient evidence, and to suspend your judgement when you have not.
 
Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. Some things have to be believed  to be seen.

New Year's Resolutions or Goals?

I stopped writing New Year's resolutions many years ago.  But never fear - I started to write my New Year's Goals.

I have found that I am much more likely to stick with my goals than those silly resolutions!  AND..it is so very important to write down your goals instead of just keeping them in your head.  After all - if you write them down - you have committed to doing something to achieve them

So - what are my 2012 goals?  I decided that I will begin with just one goal on this blog!  

Goal #1 - Blog on a daily basis  *ha*  It is January 18th and I have obviously failed miserably!  SO - I am going to do much better going forward or else - I will have to write this one off as a big ole FAIL.  I do not enjoy failing at anything...so here it is...out there for everyone to see!

Thoughts on 2012

Well hello there Blog!

Did you think that I forgot about you?  Well - I didn't but I must admit that I am finding that this particular blog is difficult to write.

I want to say goodbye - once and for all to 2011.  It just was a difficult year - that is all there is to it!  As you probably noticed I have been posting a lot of motivational and inspirational quotes each day.  To be quite frank here I posted those to keep my spirits up!

You see - in February 2011, my company announced a major reorganization.  Many of us did not know exactly what that would mean to us but we knew without a doubt that it would touch us in some form or fashion.  AND...touch us it did.  It took months...and I mean months for us to know our fate.  Some found out that they would be losing their jobs and some would be staying at a company that was going to be greatly restructured.

I had to do everything in my power to prepare for the worse.  I had to work to keep my spirits high and keep a positive attitude - hence the many...many inspirational postings each day.

Now - with that said I came to really enjoy those daily postings so I think that I will continue to post them.  They truly start my day in a positive mode so maybe they will do the same for you!

In closing - 2012 is an opportunity for a fresh start, a clean slate.  An opportunity to do something different and hopefully better!
